Candle Care Tips
Wicked Candles
The first burn should be 2-3 hours, or long enough to create a full melt pool reaching all the way to the edge of the glass. This ensures a clean and even burn during the life of the candle. Your wooden wick is pre-trimmed, so you will not need to trim the first burn. However, to maintain the wick, make sure it's trimmed to 1/4 inches before every burn. Stop burning when there's 1/4 inches of wax remaining. DO NOT leave lighted/burning candles unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.
Decor / Silhouette Candles
Decor / Silhouette Candles: Our decor and body candles are intended for decoration, they add fragrance to a room without lighting. However, if you do decide to burn your candle they will need to be placed on a trinket tray or ceramic dish. Do not leave lighted candles unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets.
Wax Melts
Use a wax warmer that is specifically designed for wax melts. The average length the recommended melt will burn is 8-10 hours, however some scents have been known to last for days. Longevity varies based on the type of scent, individual sniffers, type of warmer, etc. Wax melts can be used until scent is faded after that you may use cotton balls to soak up melted wax. Do not discard wax in the sink.
Wickless Candles
Wickless candles are easy to use. Simply take you candle and place on candle warmer. Then turn on your warmer until you're happy with the aroma around the area. When you are finished using them, turn off the warmer and the wax will solidify until you are ready to use again. When you are ready to dispose and you want to reuse the vessel - simply remove the wax by placing the solidified wax in the freezer for an hour and then it will pop right out, clean with a spritz of alcohol and reuse!
